Today I spoke in Westminster Hall about apprenticeships. The lack of understanding about apprenticeships amongst students, parents and teachers presents a huge barrier to their access. This barrier prevents young people from even applying.
I asked what more we can do to improve awareness of the availability of apprenticeships.

Must have missed this!! This is great news. Where is it being installed please? And how can we support. Thanks!
This is in the budget of the last administration so it would be really annoying if it didn't happen after all the work that Julie Adshead and I put into it. But since one of the first announcements that Reform have made is to spend £2.5m on a referendum on future administrative arrangements I do wonder if they have different priorities 🤔
Is there any progress with Booth Road Waterfoot?
